Human rights activists in Kenya have filed a court appeal to call for the release of two tuberculosis (TB) patients who were jailed in August for failing to follow treatment. The two men suffer from multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB), which usually develops after patients on first-line TB drugs fail to complete a six-month course of treatment.
