Materials on African Sexuality Requested for Publication
Journalists, writers, photographers, and broadcasters are invited to submit a variety of visual and literary materials on African sexualities as part of a research project on the Law, Gender and Sexuality. Deadline: October 30.
Submissions will be part of a contemporary Reader on African Sexualities being developed at the University of Makerere, Uganda. The publication seeks to explore the range of sexualities across Africa as expressed through populist and academic mediums.
Accordingly, submissions can include; essays, fiction, poetry, web blogs, art, crafts, photographs, film, documentaries, diaries, music, academic publications that deal with African sexualities. Submissions can be in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, or any African language. Materials will be translated into English.
